Points and miles travel deals for March: Earn with these offers

From bonus points on your next hotel stay to generous sales of airline miles, we’re always looking for travel deals that help you earn more points and miles and redeem them for maximum value. In other words, we want to help you book the vacation of your dreams.

This week, we found premium economy seats to Singapore for as low as 45,000 Singapore KrisFlyer miles and limited-time Frontier Airlines deals for free bags and companion fares. On the hotel side, the third week of Wyndham’s Member Month brings multiple new offers, and World of Hyatt members can score triple points on Homes & Hideaways vacation rentals. Plus, there’s a slew of new buy points and miles deals in case you need to top up for your next redemption. But that’s not all.

We help our readers each week by rounding up ongoing promotions so they don’t have to scour the internet for the best reward redemptions and offers. This includes everything from frequent flyer programs and hotel rewards programs to credit card offers and rental car deals. Here’s our latest list of noteworthy new points and miles promotions for March.

Airline loyalty program promotions (March 2025)

Airline loyalty programs can offer trip discounts on certain dates, the chance to earn more miles for future travel and deals to rack up points toward elite status. Below are some of the best offers we found for March.

Save on hotels and car rentals when you redeem Aeroplan points

Though redeeming for hotels and car rentals isn’t usually the best way to maximize your Aeroplan points, this deal could make it worthwhile. It could save you up to 25% on your next redemption or even more if you’re an Air Canada Aeroplan cardholder — plus, cardholders get every fourth night free when redeeming points for hotel stays.

• Get a points rebate when you redeem Aeroplan points for hotels and car rentals through Air Canada’s booking platform. You’ll get 10,000 points back when you redeem 40,000 or more points on a stay or rental and 25,000 points back when you redeem at least 100,000 points. If you hold an Aeroplan® Credit Card, you’ll get an additional 5,000 points back.
• You can take advantage of this promotion multiple times for each qualifying stay or rental during the promotion period.
• Register and book by April 13, then complete travel by Sept. 30.

Earn bonus Flying Blue miles on Hertz rentals

If you’d rather pay for your car rental with cash, this promotion from Hertz and Air France-KLM Flying Blue could be especially lucrative. Flying Blue typically offers 12 miles per euro (approximately $1.08) spent and up to a 15% discount on car rentals, but now you can earn up to 5,000 bonus miles on top of that — worth $65 based on our March 2025 valuations.

• Earn 2,000 bonus miles for Hertz rentals of three to four days, 3,000 bonus miles for rentals of five to seven days, 4,000 bonus miles for rentals of eight to 10 days and 5,000 bonus miles for rentals of 11 to 28 days.
• This offer is valid in participating Hertz locations worldwide, excluding Hertz 24/7 locations and vehicles.
• Book your rental through the offer page by April 2 and complete it by June 21.

Hotel loyalty program promotions (March 2025)

Hotel loyalty programs occasionally offer discounted stays, ways to earn extra points and deals at various properties. Here are some March deals to consider when booking your next stay.

Earn bonus Best Western Rewards points when you rent with Avis

Road trip season is around the corner, and the car rental deals keep rolling in. In addition to the 1,000 Best Western Rewards points members normally earn per rental, you can save money and snag up to 5,000 bonus Best Western points on Avis rentals this spring.

• Earn 2,000 bonus Best Western Rewards points on qualifying Avis rentals of three to five days or 4,000 bonus points on rentals of five-plus days, as well as a discount of up to 25%.
• Offer applies at participating Avis locations in the U.S and Canada.
• Book and rent by March 31 using Avis Worldwide Discount number “K850800” and coupon number “MUHA006.” Don’t forget to provide your Best Western Rewards number to earn points.

Card issuers sometimes offer deals and discounts for certain cardholders on everything from airfare to dining. Here are some of the offers we’ve rounded up this week. Remember that you must activate these offers on your card and use your enrolled card to make the purchase to earn bonus rewards.

Targeted Amex Offer at SLS Hotels

This Amex Offer, which we found on The Platinum Card® from American Express, could save you up to 25% on a boutique hotel stay (enrollment required).

• Earn a one-time $100 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $400 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating SLS Hotels in the U.S. and select global locations.
• Prepaid bookings are excluded.

Targeted Amex Offer at Expedia

This Amex Offer, which we spotted on the American Express® Gold Card, could save you some cash on your next Expedia hotel booking (enrollment required).

• Earn 10% back (up to $125 maximum) as a statement credit on prepaid hotel purchases at Expedia.
• Book and prepay online at expedia.com/amex by April 6.

Targeted Chase Offer at Palladium Hotels

If you’re looking to get lost in luxury, Palladium Hotels offers 50-plus upscale properties in the U.S., the Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil, Italy and Spain. We found this offer on the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card.

• Earn $40 cash back on your Palladium Hotel Group stay when you spend $100 or more in a single purchase directly with the merchant.
• This offer ends May 1.

• Earn 10,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points per stay of two or more nights at the Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel. Book any rate online or by phone using promo code “S2449” by March 23.

• Earn 15,000 bonus points per eligible paid stay at participating Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy properties worldwide.
