It may be hard to believe that fall is right around the corner, but Wyndham’s End of Summer sale could save you up to 20% on your hotel stays through the rest of 2025.
With this sale, Wyndham Rewards members can save up to 20% at participating properties in the U.S. and Canada, depending on how long they stay. They can get 10% off one-night stays, 15% off two-night stays and 20% off stays of three nights or more.

You don’t need to register for this promotion; the “End of Summer” sale rate should show up automatically when you look up an eligible hotel during the promotion dates. The sale price does not include taxes, resort or service fees, incidentals or gratuities.
Most, but not all, Wyndham Rewards properties in the U.S. and Canada are participating in the sale. Blackout dates, room type exclusions and other restrictions may apply, but these vary by individual hotel.
To take advantage of this sale, you must book directly with Wyndham (not through an online travel agency, for example). You must also be a Wyndham Rewards member (join for free here).
You have until Sept. 8 to book and until Dec. 31 to complete your stay(s).

Stack Wyndham’s sale with this Amex Offer
Before you book a Wyndham stay — or any travel, really — it’s always a good idea to check for other hotel promotions and credit card offers that could save you more money.
For example, we recently spotted this Amex Offer on the American Express® Gold Card: Get $100 back as a statement credit when you spend at least $500 on one or more purchases at participating Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Luxury Destinations locations by Oct. 31.

If you stay at a North American property that’s participating in both offers, you could stack this with Wyndham’s sale to save even more (as long as the total cost, after the discount, is at least $500).
For example, let’s say you wanted to book a three-night stay that costs $900. You’d save 20% and pay roughly $720 (plus taxes and resort fees) with the End of Summer sale; plus, the Amex Offer would essentially bring your purchase down to around $620, saving you nearly $300 in total.
Just remember to check your Amex account to see if you’re targeted, then enroll your card in the Amex Offer and use the same card to pay for your stay.

Maximize your Wyndham purchase

If you have a credit card offer like the one mentioned above, you’ll want to pay for your stay with the applicable card to get that lucrative statement credit. Otherwise, your best bet is to pay with the card that will earn the most rewards on your purchase.
Wyndham’s lineup of cobranded cards is a great start. These all earn bonus points on Wyndham stays, while providing additional benefits like Wyndham elite status:
- Wyndham Rewards Earner® Card: 5 points per dollar on eligible Hotels by Wyndham purchases
- Wyndham Rewards Earner® Plus Card: 6 points per dollar on eligible Hotels by Wyndham purchases
- Wyndham Rewards Earner® Business Card: 8 points per dollar on eligible Hotels by Wyndham purchases
The information for the Wyndham Rewards Earner, Rewards Earner Plus and Rewards Business Card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
You also can’t go wrong with a transferable rewards card that includes direct hotel bookings as a bonus category. Here are a few of our favorites:
